Wonder Festival 2015 Winter Report

Wonder Festival 2015 was held on 8th February 2015!
This festival is most biggest modeling event in Japan.

At first, I introduce Maker latest figures.

Psycho-pass

Figures know if you are a good civilian or a born thug.

Some people love fortune telling. This is, maybe, because they want to know the future to relieve themselves. Somehow, they believe that their future is relatively good; otherwise, they never want to know the outcome in advance, especially, which is unavoidable. In other words, they expect the fortuneteller to say something good. They don't want to hear bad things. However, figures are always honest. They are never wrong; it is always us who get wrong. If your future is digitalized, do you want to see it? The world of "Psycho-Pass" is such a thing.

- What's Psycho-pass?

This is one of Japanese anime. This depicts the world of a dystopian future of Japan, where all the people are calculated according to a system, which is named "Sybil". The Sybil System shows all the personality of a person and how to have a great life. It tells you even who and how to get married to and it is never wrong. As long as you follow the system, your life is always in good hands.

In the society, Sybil System finds a would-be criminal and kind of police forces catch him/her in advance. This means that you will be caught without perpetrating an actual crime if the system says that you are going to. This likelihood of your becoming a criminal is digitalized and called "Psycho-pass". If your Psycho-Pass is high, you are almost a criminal. Once you have high Psycho-pass, will you be caught and never be free? Yes, partially. If you want to get out of the institution to "purify" you, you have one means. Be an executor.

- The potential criminal and executor

Potential criminals are sometimes allowed to be an executor by Sybil System. This is the person who catches or kills other potential criminals (whose Psycho-Pass is high enough). If a normal officer tries to catch or kill such a dangerous person, his/her Psycho-Pass will also get high because he/she get close to what they call "crime". Therefore, officers have executors catch or kill the suspects (good term, huh?) The officers are called "Inspector", and the job of the main character, Akane Tsunemori.

- The story

The story begins when Akane is assigned to an inspector. As soon as she is, Sybil System finds a would-be criminal and he escaped from the drones to lead him to the purifying institution. Her first mission is to catch him, but she understands what are "Inspector" and "Executor" then, and gets confused. She does not know the distress of her will take her to the secret of the whole society -- yet at this point.

Are you excited? No! Don't get excited! That can raise your Psycho-Pass to death...

Now, PSYCHO-PASS 2 is on air.

Durarara!!

Durarara!!　*2 started on January  2015!

Love, just love.

Do you like a love story? Love is a good thing. Some say that people cannot live without that, and others insist that they can do anything for that. So, it must be something special, even if it involves the un-human or the inhuman. This is a love story: An anomaly-shaped love story -- DRRR.

"Drrr" or "Durarara!" is one of Japanese anime, which has many characters. Most of them are Japanese people and the location is Ikebukuro, a real existing city of Japan. This anime is based on a young-adult novel named the same, which series has released over 10 books so far, so the story gets expanded again and again. Now, let me introduce the first main episode. This is also the first episode of the anime version.

- The setting

A boy has arrived at Ikebukuro, which is one of the biggest towns in Japan. He became a high-school student and come to town to see his friend, who contacted him via the Internet. His friend introduces some urban legend of Ikebukuro:

There is a Russian guy, who is really inscrutable but nice. There is a "strongest" bartender, from who you must keep away unless you want to be blown to another planet. There is a gang, whose team color is yellow and they are so dangerous. There is another gang; the team color is unknown and so is their activity. There is an informer, with who you should not have a relationship.

However, the biggest and hottest urban legend of the town is, his friend say, about a head-less rider. The rider is on a perfectly silent bike without any lights and never puts off the helmet lest anybody should see there is no head on the shoulder.

These people are seemingly unrelated to each other, but actually, they are connected, even they themselves don't know though. What's going on the town? You will be the only one person who knows the whole picture after reading through.

- The love

The story is so intricate because it is depicted from each view of the many characters. However, the gist is simple: LOVE. This is a love story; just the love is a little strange. You will know that there are many shapes in love. Don't jump to the conclusion. This is not a melodrama. There is no "ideal" hero or heroine to be loved by all the reader. They are so complicated that they are all "human". All? Yes, ALL.
